  • Serve relevant advertising and retarget visitors on third-party platforms (see Section 5)
  • Comply with our legal and contractual obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize your browser, remember preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. We use the following categories:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., security, page navigation).
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics; you can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Advertising / targeting cookies — used by us and our advertising partners to deliver and measure ads (see Section 5).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some types of cookies may impact your experience on the Site. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

5. Advertising and retargeting

We use third-party advertising and analytics platforms to promote our services and measure campaign performance. These platforms may place cookies or pixels on your device that allow them to collect information about your visits to the Site and other websites in order to show you ads relevant to your interests. Partners we may use include:

  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising and retargeting)
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn advertising and conversion tracking)
  • Google Ads remarketing and conversion tracking (including across the Google Display Network and YouTube)
  • Google Analytics advertising features

You can opt out of interest-based advertising:

6. Email marketing and newsletters

If you subscribe to our newsletter, request a guide or other resource, or otherwise opt in to receive marketing emails from us, we will use your email address to send you content, updates about our services, and occasional promotions. We use Mailchimp (operated by Intuit Inc.) to send and measure these emails, including tracking opens and link clicks to improve relevance. Information you provide is processed by Mailchimp in accordance with its own privacy policy.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing david@camisadomarketing.com. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages (for example, replies to your inquiries or invoices to active clients).

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us operate our business — for example, website hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics, advertising platforms, and payment processors — who are bound to use your information only on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Camisado Marketing, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred to the successor entity.
  • With your consent. Any other sharing you direct or authorize.

Some sharing with advertising and analytics partners (such as via cookies and pixels) may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information under California law. See Section 11 for how to opt out.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal and tax obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of data, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or modification. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your privacy rights
